When registering, you have to state your disease – this is determinative for later beeing allowed to use the website. Once registered, you are not allowed to add or change the disease(s).

Users have the ability to show how they are doing (mentally and physically) by completing a questionnaire. Having answered, a graph is generated showing others users how you are doing.

The website looks a bit like Myspace, LinkedIn or Facebook in allowing users to add friends. It allows building up a social network, to find friends or fellow-sufferers. There are no moderators on the website, but a procedure is given for incorrect information displayed on the website. User must obey certain rules, such as treat other users with respect and honesty. There also is a privacy policy, stating that every user can post and read topics and posts. Users are allowed to revise their posts but may not remove them.

Home
Here a user may add information about his disease, inclunding prescriptions, symptoms and counseling or therapy. Information is given about people with the same disease. A chart displays the users mental and physical wellness.

My Profile
Here users may add more information about themselves or their disease. Users may add additional symptoms, therapy history, treatments and dosages, and a weight chart (weight may effect your condition).

Patients
Users can search for other users with the same disease using multiple categories like location, age, username, treatment or symptom. Advanced search ability is available. Users may contact other users to share experiences and send and receive messages.

Forum
You may find topics about the disease that the user has as the forum is used by other users with the same disease.  On the left side of the screen you can see the most popular tags, you can search for a tag,  and you have the ability to manage your favorite topics.

Treatments
In this section of the website users have the ability to search for treatments. When you click on a treatment you get additional  information charts about that specific treatment for your disease. On the right side of the screen you can see other users of the website who tried the treatment, and forum topics about the treatment.

Symptoms
Information about symptoms that users experience. Clicking on a symptom you will see a graph which shows additional information charts about that specific symptom for your disease. On the right hand side users can see other registered users who have the same symptoms. There is also a link to forum topics that are the same to the symptom you just clicked.

Research
Informs users of the website research about diseases and gives users the ability to get in contact with researchers. When you click on a member of the research team, the website displays a short biography and information such as published scientific articles. Suggestions for research are invited. Reports that used data of the website are published.
